What is micro silver?
The world of silver in consumer products is a diverse one, with different forms and sizes serving various purposes. At one end of the spectrum lies pure elemental silver, the metallic form we're familiar with in jewelry and flatware. This form is well-understood and considered safe, as we've had centuries of experience using it in close contact with our skin.
However, as silver particles become smaller, venturing into the realm of nanoparticles and colloidal suspensions, our understanding of their safety diminishes. Nanoparticles, with their minuscule size, can penetrate the skin, potentially leading to unforeseen consequences. Similarly, colloidal silver, where silver is dissolved in a liquid, alters its properties, raising questions about its safety profile.

Wastewater treatment plants are often unable to filter out these minuscule silver particles, allowing them to enter waterways and irrigation systems.
